PROPOSED SCHOOL FEES
In accordance with the School Act and with the School Board Fees Ministerial Order, we would like to advise all Sherwood Park families of the possible school fees that could be charged for the coming school year. A fee may be charged to recover some or all of the costs related to enriched or additional learning opportunities. In all cases, fees are kept to a minimum. The Board may charge a fee at cost for: transportation, entrance fees, and equipment rental associated with field trips or special events.
Examples of fees levied in the past are:
- special projects to take home/give as gift
- field trips
- special events held at the school
- extra-curricular activities
As per Policy 706: School Fees, it is the school principal, in consultation with staff, School Parent Advisory Council, and school community who is responsible for establishing fee amounts for his/her school. All school fee amounts are set at cost-recovery.
Please review the table below for the proposed School Fees for the coming School Year.

*This is a "Kindergarten Consumable Supplies Fee." A district-wide recommended amount for the K Fees is developed in consultation with K teachers and is based upon consistent curricular activities across all K classes. K parents can also use the Kindergarten Supply List (which is uploaded to the school website) and purchase items themselves.
**For school supplies, we will facilitate purchase of packages through a third party supplier, Creative Packs. School supply lists can be found on the school website at Agendas and School Supplies. We will not be supporting bulk ordering this school year.
SHERWOOD PARK SCHOOL PAYMENTS
In the past, parents could only pay for school fees via cash and cheques. Now there is also the ability to pay for more and more school field trips and activities by direct bank payment or credit card, through the KEVGroup School Cash website. Only one account is needed for the entire family, regardless of which North Vancouver School District school your children attend. You can even pay for multiple items at the same time.
The advantage for families is that students will not have to carry money to school and parents will be able to see at a glance the items they have paid for, as well as be able to pint a receipt for any payment.
You will be notified with each field trip/activity if the online payment option is available.
For information on how to set up an account, refer to Online Payment Instructions. Please note that you will need your child's student number in order to set up an account.
If you already have an account, link to the KEVGroup site here Online Payment.
SHERWOOD PARK PAC PAYMENTS
Throughout the school year, the Sherwood Park PAC sponsors a variety of programs for which payments are made to the Sherwood Park PAC itself or third parties like community programs. Please pay close attention to the program information sent to you via class reps. as to the method of payment you can use, and to whom it is payable.
